For as long as music has been recorded, it’s also been remixed. Though a lot of us love to cling to an original, there’s something to be admired about the passion and creative energy that goes into remaking something. Plus, you know you’ll find yourself jamming out to a catchy new rendition in no time.

Inspired by this concept of creating a new original, ’47 Mashup was born. The collection sees familiar NBA logos, mascots and taglines with a different perspective by combining two marks from a team into one masterpiece – fresh and unique ensembles that now live on ’47’s premium headwear silhouettes. Designers at the sports lifestyle brand looked at an array of NBA logos within each team’s range and carefully chose some to create one-of-a-kind work that has never been mixed or seen before.

“Though each team mark is strong on its own, at some point it seemed like elements from one could perfectly assemble with another,” said Joe Zuidema, ’47 Headwear Designer. “A song mashup is usually created with this same discovery. The end result becomes its own original work.”
